July 4th Weekend

For July 4th weekend we went down to Georgia to spend some time with Nana and Papaw. I was excited to bring Eli to some of the July 4th festivities, but unfortunately EVERYTHING got rained out. Luckily for us, Nana planned some fun things for us to do and we still had an awesome long weekend.

On Thursday morning we went to Eli's favorite place to eat... Ihop! The boy can put away some pancakes!

Since the parade and fireworks were cancelled we just stayed home for the rest of the day and enjoyed each other!

Jude also discovered he could use Nana's barstool chairs as walkers...

Late that night people were shooting off fireworks in the neighborhood and Eli was terrified! He did NOT want to go outside and he didn't want anyone else to go outside. He wanted to see them so badly, but at the same time was too afraid to go out and look! Poor boy! He did enjoy seeing some on tv though. Jude remained unfazed!

On Friday Mom and I took Eli to Monkey Joes where he got to bounce around and go down slides. He loved it; plus it's a great way to get out that endless toddler energy supply! Then on Saturday we went to Dauset trails, which is a local Nature Center.

What a fun weekend!
